In the event the House does not recede, the President has appointed the following members to a conference committee to meet with a like committee from the House to consider the bills: Senator Kelly, Chair Senator Donley Senator Ellis 1998-05-10 House Journal Page 3726 SB 153 Representative Porter moved that the House recede from its amendment to SB 153, namely HCS SB 153(FIN) am H, and recommended that the members vote no. The question being: Shall the House recede from its amendment to SB 153? The roll was taken with the following result: HCS SB 153 am H Recede YEAS: 0 NAYS: 33 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 7 Nays: Austerman, Barnes, Berkowitz, Brice, Bunde, Cowdery, Croft, Davis, Dyson, Elton, Green, Grussendorf, Hodgins, Hudson, Ivan, James, Joule, Kemplen, Kohring, Kookesh, Kott, Martin, Masek, Mulder, Nicholia, Ogan, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Ryan, Sanders, Vezey, Williams Absent: Davies, Foster, Hanley, Kelly, Kubina, Moses, Therriault And so, the House failed to recede. The Speaker appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate to consider the above bills: Representative Green, Chair Representative Rokeberg Representative Croft The Chief Clerk was instructed to so notify the Senate. **The presence of Representative Kubina was noted.
